Call for applications for Diplomas and Certificate in Administrative Officers Law Course

The Academic Registrar, Law Development Centre (LDC) invites applications for admission to the following courses to be offered in the 2024/2025 Academic Year.

  1. DIPLOMA IN LAW AT KAMPALA CAMPUS, 2024/2025 ACADEMIC YEAR

 Diploma in Law course (Day) to commence on 16th September, 2024

  • Diploma in Law course (Evening) to commence on 16th September, 2024
  • Diploma in Law course (Weekend) to commence on 21st September, 2024
  1. DIPLOMA IN HUMAN RIGHTS AT KAMPALA CAMPUS, 2024/2025 ACADEMIC YEAR

 Diploma in Human Rights Course (evening) to commence on 6th January, 2025

  1. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER’S LAW COURSE CONDUCTED AT KAMPALA CAMPUS

 Administrative Officer’s Law course (Evening) to be offered from 15th April – 24th May 2024

  • Administrative Officer’s Law Course (Evening) to be offered from 5th August – 13th September 2024
  • Administrative Officer’s Law course (Evening) to be offered at LDC, 28th October – 6th December 2024
  1. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER’S LAW COURSE CONDUCTED AT REGIONAL CAMPUSES AND MBALE STUDY CENTRE, 2024/2025 ACADEMIC YEAR
  • Administrative Officer’s Law course (Weekend) from 6th April – 23rd June 2024 at Mbarara Campus
  • Administrative Officer’s Law course (Weekend) from 6th April – 23rd June 2024 at Mbale Study Centre
  • Administrative Officer’s Law Course (Weekend) from 28th sept – 15th Dec 2024 at Mbarara Campus
  • Administrative Officer’s Law Course (Weekend) from 28th sept – 15th Dec 2024 at Lira Campus

NB: Teaching of short courses on evening session may extend to weekend

  1. Requirements for admission

Applicants for all courses should possess a minimum of ‘O’ level (UCE) with at least five passes obtained at the same sitting, plus a minimum of Principal Pass and two subsidiary passes at ‘A’ Level obtained at the same sitting.

  1. How to Apply

The application fee is Ush. 100,000/- payable to the URA account. All applications are submitted online. To apply online, please visit our online application portal at admissions.ldc.ac.ug. You will be prompted by the system to upload your academic documents and to generate a payment reference number (PRN). Please note that generation of a PRN and payment will be enabled after uploading your documents.

For any enquiry about admissions and payment of application fees , please send an email to admissions@ldc.ac.ug and finance@ldc.ac.ug respectively. ONLY APPLICATION FORMS SUBMITTED ONLINE AND PAID FOR SHALL BE PROCESSED

  1. Deadline for receiving applications

Applications should be submitted online at least 2 weeks before commencement of the course.
