The Director Law Development Centre, Dr. Pamela Tibihikirra-Kalyegira, has carried out a support and monitoring and evaluation visit to the Legal Aid Clinic of Mbarara. She was accompanied by a team from the Legal Aid Clinic, led by the Manager Ms. Lydia Namuli.
During the trip, the Director was received by Assistant Director Mbarara Campus, Ms. Racheal Lubowa and she made courtesy visits to Mbarara Court, where she interacted with Hon. Justice Kavuma Joyce and Hon. Justice Nshiimye Allan as well as the Deputy Registrar, Her Worship Atwongyirwe Grace and the Chief Magistrate, His Worship Kabombo Andrew.
The LDC team was also hosted by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions and Officer in Charge of Mbarara Main Prison, Mr. Kamya Seresti. The discussions centered around how to improve the services of Legal Aid Clinic and the impact of LDC Mbarara Campus to the community.
